You can't pump your own gas in Jersy? Do you have to dip the gas dispenser guy? Do some stations have hot babes pumping gas?
aint that some sheet.. once while driving through jersey i stopped and got gas and proceeded to pump my gas like its always been and some young pimply teen came running out, " you can't pump your own gas !!" i said oh yeah, i've been pumping my own gas since before you were born.. watch how a pro does it !!.. LOL.. i filled the tank, paid him and went on down the road..
jersey has some stupid fuel related laws. my son used to race 1/4 midgets and to run a 1/4 midget in the state of new jersey you had to have a braided fuel line. even if it was just a gravity fed carb.. WTF ? we never raced there.
You filled up and came back out from where? Paying for it? Why didn't you put the cap back on when you finished filling it? It's worked for me and is still working. But I usually pay at the pump.
I'd cut the guy some slack on wanting a new gas cap right away and paying more for it.
