No, have not tried chopper exchange.. on the way.. Im really leaning towards the 2002 I posted.. I have a truck I can rent for cheap.. I just need to figure out if it has tie downs in the bed.. negotiated to $7500... he's way out in the boonies so its gonna be a tough sell.. probably go on tuesday if the stars are aligned.. I've never seen pearl white though.. I should maybe go look at one locally.

without the warranty... I guess he can get a rebate if he doesnt sell the warranty... this one has Nacelle which I seem to really want... but staggered pipes, which I do not care for but assume I could sell.

OP... I'm gonna make a suggestion here...
It sound like you have 'the fever'. My suggestion is to chill out a little bit... maybe a lot.
By all means... Keep looking... do your research... try to figure out what's important to you... but stop thinking about buying every low priced (in your budget I guess I mean) bike you see.
When you see it, you'll know it. Eventually, an ad will come up... and the bike will be almost exactly what you're looking for (color, mods, etc) and you won't really even need to think about it. You'll just know.
I looked for bikes for about a year (4-5 months with no intention of buying anything)... when mine came up on CL, I saw the ad and drove 75 miles to buy it that afternoon. I just knew.

One question on the original bike posted about. Are you sure it's an 06 ? I just bought an 05 with 10k miles on it with that same exact paint set on it for the 15th anniversary of the fat boy.

I looked for over a year as well, and just Suntower says, when I saw it, I knew it was mine.

Good advice.. I will go look, and see if one sings to me.. I really need to see them in person to know.. when Ive looked at bikes I didnt like in photos before I ended up liking the colors..
the luxury rich red 01 has everything but the exhaust.. but color needs to be in person.. so price, headlight, twin88, injected, miles... so its really just color..
