Hey guys I bought my Rocker this year...and every time I change something...I get on HD Forums...and find great pictures and ideas...and then order more parts and start saving more $$$ for more mod...is an addiction...LOL
I have the stock rims on my rocker...and would like some ideas...not to expensive on improving the look.
Chrome? I found on the forums a place that you can exchange the stock rims and get them chrome for around $900...are the chrome rims hard to keep clean and will get scratch easy?
Personal opinion is that it's not worth caroming the stock rims. They will look a bit shinier, but for me I would rather out that money towards some different wheels. Not sure why motorcycle wheels have to cost so damn much though. I wheel costs more than a set of 4 aftermarket car wheels.
900 is steep for Chrome rocker wheels. You could get some cooler aftermarket for 12-1300... or find someone with a Rocker C that went aftermarket and get their chromes.
Chrome wheels are definitely lower maintenance than bare polished aluminum wheels (needing only a quick wipe), if the chroming is good enough quality to not corrode, flake off, etc.

hicksjay....any suggestions on aftermarket wheels?
That depends on your style / likes? I went with Fat Spokes but DNA sucks to do business with... There was a really nice set of custom wheels with rotors and pulley a few months back but they were 2k... if he still has them you could probably get a good deal. Tons of cool rockers on here if you are looking for ideas.
