Default WTF DNA Wheels

I don't know who they have over there building there wheels but they should be fired. I received my 60 spoke, 21 front 18 rear, and they look great. I go to mount up the front wheel and the bearing are sunk way into the hub. I measure my old bearings compaired to the new and it's almost an inch off. Ok, not that big of a deal. I'll just have to use my factory spacer that sits in between the 2 bearings. So I press out the bearings of my stock wheel and the new wheel to switch over the spacer. Now the wheel mounts up perfect and brake rotor lines up perfect with the caliper, but the rim is not centered. WTF!!!!!! They most have laced my rim wrong

You should be able to take the bearings/spacers/ and sleeve out of old tire and put it in the new one and have it mount up right

That wheel is a 21"? Looks huge

^ I did switch the the factory spacer over. New and old bearings are the same thickness. The problem is its a 1/4" over to the left if your standing in the front looking at it. I can't press the bearing over that 1/4" because then the brake rotor won't line up with the caliper.

I'm running a 140/70 21 tire which is same height as a 23" wheel and tire.

I got exactly the same problem with a 21'' inch Wheel from american wire, the Wheel and brake mount perfectly but the rim was 1/4'' in the right side.

Took it to harley dealer, they said they cant do anything with a 80 fat spoke...

I still have them on the garage floor... I loose 450$...

I had a similar problem with a 21" wheel off a 2009 Nightrain I put on my Deluxe . The wheel they sent you was probably laced for a FX front end not the FL front end there is a 1/4" difference between the two. Shims, spacers etc will not work. You need to loosen all the spokes have the hoop moved a 1/4 " (or how ever far it is off) to the right and have it trued . The information I got is not something I came up with. Sam from Ride Right Wheels told me what the problem was and how to fix it. so it is safe and it is done all the time in the wheel business.

I did this and it worked fine .I have a long thread with pics. Don't know how to attach a link. But if you want to read it I can point you in the right direction. The last post has the pics.

Sorry to hear about the hassle bro. Looks amazing in that wheel tire combo though, I like that you kept the fat profile. Hope you get it sorted out alright.

If the wheel was 1/4 to the right I could just add some washers in between the lower fork and the brake caliper and it would center the wheel. Since it is to the left I would have to grind down the lower fork mount or brake caliper to center it. I need to mount the rear first to see if it lines up properly before I decide on what I want to do. I sent their vendor a email and left them a message. Not expecting any response until Monday.

Thanks for the info. I bet you that's what they did. Still pisses me off that I ended up with the wrong wheel. My invoice clearly states for a 2010 Fatboy Lo.
