Default Front End for my Slim

One of my must have items on the list is a new front end for my slim. Originally I was gonna black it out like a lot of people have but recently I stumbled upon a photo of a Sportster that made me think a springer front end would look sick.
Here is my bike currently:

And here is the springer front end pic:

Would love to here your thoughts.

I've always wanted to do a springer on my slim, but I can't justify spending the money it costs for a quality springer when I still owe on the bike.

Sure you can. You're just not justifying right!

Yeah I think so too. If I can make it happen for less than a $1k it may be in my near future.

Stay away from DNA sprinters. There have been some serious issues with them. I was actually looking at Paughco ones last night and they run 13-1600. Then you have to think about headlight, headlight mount, brake mount, fender mount, yadda yadda yadda.

Go for it. I think it would look super cool with a springer front.

Appreciate the tip. I figured the DNAs were crap based on their price point but glad you reenforced that. I'm gonna hit up some swap meets and BF5 and talk to some builders around to see if I can find a way to do it a little cheaper than that Paughco route. I'll keep posting here with what I find out.

Thanks. I'm definitely gonna look into it. I just got the bike in April and I don't think I can justify thousands for it but hopefully it works out.

Does anyone know which front end that springer is? It looks like the H-D springer to me. Is it the same front end as a crossbones?
