Default New paint

Hey guys the painter I was going to have paint my bike just finished this set of tanks. I have a chance to buy them. I'm so close to pulling the trigger, but I was planning to go a completely different direction. I like these. I'm just worried it is to much for my NT... What are your thoughts?

I did tame down my painter he wanted to go to town and I really added a lot more black to it than what he wanted..
Now I regret it. but.. I am flashy

Thanks guys just not sure it goes with the whole blacked out look of the NT. I think it would be cool on something chromed out....

Its a very nice job on paint. I think it would need to have a little more black to go with the blacked out look. Maybe if your bike was a mix of black and chrome, but a NT... probably with the orange might clash a bit too much. jmo.

This all comes down to the whole bike presentation.

Nice paint work but I couldn't relate to what I was seeing.
A bull, or alligator with short legs? If I had that I'd be answering questions all day about what it means or what it is or both.

I want a paint job where someone says "cool" and keeps on walking.

That's definitely an eye-catching paint scheme, the orange hog head is well done, albeit a bit overshadowed by the whole scheme.

...but(!), if it's not the direction you want to take your NT, will you be truly happy with spending the coin on those tins?

I'm sure it'd look good on a blacked out bike, probably better with on one with chrome...but it's your coin, your bike. Do what makes you happiest!

I'd wait. Like others have said on a chromed bike it might look ok but wouldn't really fit too well with a blacked out bike like a night train

Yup that's the plan. I really want something clean and simple, but not something you see on every NT out there...
