My wife and I took out the softails for about an hour this afternoon. Still pretty cold, but we got a heavy rain a couple of days ago that washed a lot of the winter salt, sand, gravel, and assorted other flotsam off of the roads. It's right around 40F and dropping, my knees and nuts are frozen, and I'm happy. That's about mile 250 for me so far this year - now, I'm about due for a new rear tire. Thinking on stepping up to a 150 on the Slim, probably looking at a ME888 to give it a shot this time around.
Looks like, for the foreseeable future, I'm balancing ride time with unemployment pay - both of us got laid off indefinitely (but subject to recall) as of tomorrow.
