Wow, didn't think it would be that much. Ferries on the Mississippi here are $2 only west bound. Lot longer ride I assume. How about we amend it to in front of a ferry so we don't cost any body mod money?
That $39 is just for the bike and it is another 60 bucks per person for a 4 hour one way trip across lake Michigan from Manitowoc,WI to Ludington,MI. Needless to say I have never taken it.
I'll be on a ferry this morning and will grab the shot. I'll be on a long ride but will be stopping for breakfast and will get the photo up. Just give me a few, this will be my first photo entry to the game even though I've been following for awhile.
Hey Gang, thanks for hanging in there today. I just got back from a long day of riding. I did the hwy 101 loop up here in the northwest. I needed to first get the ferry from Edmonds ($5.95 for motorcycle and rider) over to Kingston. From there I headed up and over to Sequim to see the family for breakfast and then I headed north and around to the coast on 101. From there I went through several towns and made a stop in Aberdeen. From there it's 150 miles back to the Edmonds ferry. Wonderful ride, long but a must for anyone in the area.
So here is the photo of my Slim with GOS headed back home. The photo on the way out just didn't work as well. The ferry I'm on is the 'Spokane'. It is a Jumbo Class and it's maiden voyage was in 1973.
And one with Rainier in the distance
For the next photo task I was thinking your bike in front of a National Park sign (passed a few today) but I am assuming this has been done. If this hasn't been done then how about your bike in front of a ranger station with GOS as usual.

Yep, that was actually challenge #1 that opened this thread...
Good job on the ferry.
I was in Seattle once, I got invited to the Win95 Launch event on a press pass and I actually got to meet Bill G. up on the Bellevue campus back in '95... beautiful town...
