Well, I was reading through and got all skippy because the field next to my place is full of sheep! Then I read it was completed. Don't have anything for the new one. Only thing like that near me is a NG armory and they only have trucks & cats. Nice to see the contet picking back up though!
I had several appointments away from the shop yesterday.
Rode 240 miles and did not see a single pic oppty for-
"I'd like to see a helicopter, plane, missile. It can be either a static display, or something still in service. Any era can be used - stealth fighter, or a hot air balloon used in the civil war for scouting would be equally great."
But I had a GREAT ride thru some country roads I had never been on Southwest of Oxford.
Here we go got it. Taken on fort benning this morning. It is on display where the airborne school is.
Nice. Always did have a happy spot for aviation. Absolutely fits what I had in mind... so now the next challenge is yours to make. What am I looking for?

Also awesome. Wish my day had been so pleasant. Instead, I got to peel back a few layers of incompetence that I call my place of employment's "management structure". Now, the Union's attorney is involved... and it ain't gonna be pretty.
With some luck, hopefully I can put all that aside this weekend and blow off some steam and rack up some miles. Not much tire left... probably only a couple hundred miles before it HAS to go.
Awesome. Photo shows up, and it's a great ol' war bird. Thanks for posting that sucker up!
For future reference, photos submitted to win the challenge usually have a qualifier of "GOS", which is glasses/gloves on the seat. Sometimes there's something else, but usually an optional (and not really serious but would count) addition, like tossing the hot barmaid on the seat at the brew pub, or a roll of TP on the seat with the pic of the outhouse. Glad you're on board - looks like a lot of people joining the hunt this season, which will make it move faster, and should be a load of fun.
