Here's a photo of my softail in front of the Auckland town hall (New Zealand) glasses on the seat ,please let me know if this passes
Nice photo, and nice bike! Your town hall is way more architecturally interesting than mine is!
I was gonna go get this one this afternoon - probably gonna be my last ride of the season, between work stuff, home/family stuff on the weekends, and soon to be salt and sand on the roads, I'm gonna be shut down all too soon.
Thanks for putting up your first post to keep this thread going - I think it was back about 4 pages when I looked last night.

Glad your neck issues are better - you need to stop using that 4-letter word (S#@w) though. The forum auto-moderation thing that catches all the other 'bad' words should be tweaked to strike that one too!

Sounds about right, my friend. Glad to hear you're mending well. I was wondering about you this morning.
As for the weather, I had to go for a quick scoot yesterday before I parked my Slim and the Sporty for the winter. It was about 14F, but the roads were still clear. Started to flurry when I pulled into the shop. Now, we have about 3 inches on the roads and it's still coming down. WAY too early for this. I'll keep the King available in case of a break, but...
We got a couple inches of [redacted] on Thursday night, but it didn't stick around except in the shade. This is probably as close as I'll come to a snowdrift this season!
Curious, Why is that? Too close to the Atlantic, refering to doing any winter riding?
Guess I should have been a little more clear, that's as close as the bike is getting to a snowdrift. We'll be buried all too soon, but with the amount of salt and sand they throw on the roads here I won't be bringing the bike out until we get a couple of good rains to wash the majority of it off the roads. It's possible that might happen during a brief mid-winter thaw, but more than likely, once it's down, it'll be there till spring. I don't mind the cold, but trying to clean that crap off the bike in the winter is major PITA.
I see now. BTW, are you a drummer? Been messing with percussion for 56 years now. Still can't hear most any sound without applying a rhythm of some form to it. Drives others around me mad. . .
