Think it got around freezing once, last winter. We are a 12 month riding country. Kinda tough in August, but bikes never get put up around here. Battery tenders aren't a big sales product.
We both have good and bad, but Riding is the point, and enjoying riding the big one, for all. Ride as much as possible, as long as possible.. tomp
Yeah we don't really get much fall color change here in deep south Louisiana, that's why I chose this challenge. They just kind of go from green to brown to ground. We do get to ride year round though.
I'm a little surprised, actually, about the seasonal change here this year. We had frost a week before Fall actually showed up on the calendar. Usually, we get some brilliant oranges and reds along with the yellows and browns. Everything is just looking green or dead right now. I figured I could have met this challenge simply by opening up my garage door, and taking a picture from inside it. (Not that I'd go that stupid-lazy on it.)
OK, here's one from today. Foliage was weird around here, some trees haven't changed yet, but many are a week past their peak. I think this one will meet the challenge though...
Assuming this is acceptable, next challenge: Your bike (GoS) in front of an 'over-the-top' Halloween decoration display. Because my next door neighbor totally goes to town, and I want to see if anyone can find one that is more crazy.
Beeeautiful tree. Funny, but your new challenge is the same on the Dyna Challenge thread. Guess that the hoildays will all to soon be upon us.
Ha ha...I actually stole the challenge from last year's Sportster thread (I was riding my 1200C then). I wasn't able to complete it last year though because I was waiting on a warranty replacement battery when the challenge hit - didn't think it would have been sporting to push the bike to the photo spot...
This house has more decorations that are inflatable. They just did not have them inflated this early in the day, but you can see some of them laying flat on the lawn.
Had to take this picture on the less decorated side of the house because the other side had no good spot to safely park and take the pics.
These next pics are of the better decorated side of same house.
If this passes, next challenge, bike w/GOS and a football player or team in uniform.

I'd say that might be some competition for my neighbors! Nicely done. And nice lookin' scooter, too!
