Softtail Photo Game Thread
You jokers have until morning. I'm literally looking at buying a 1940 Chevy Master Deluxe for my wife for her birthday tomorrow. I'll take the bike.
Ragnar, something like this? Beautiful...Article says '40, but the plate says '38...

It runs great. Body is in fantastic shape - no rust. Doors latch gently with a light push, and you can't get much cooler than suicide doors. Interior is even in fair condition. Needs a little electrical work to get the tails and rear turns working, and the brakes could be tighter. Given the car is 74 years old and mostly original, it's pretty sweet. Ball is in my wife's court. If she wants it, it's hers.

Just last week they had a week long Hudson national car club meet here at French Lick. I'd never in my life seen more than one of those at a time before and there was about 300 of them here for the show. Covered every year they made them from the 1930's to the 1960's.

I swear the glasses are on the seat, but they are down in the cradle of it. You can JUST make out the rims over the back of the seat. The guy was having a garage sale, and there were vehicles all over the place, so this was about as good as I was going to get.
We did actually wind up buying the car - have the clear title right here in front of me. Pretty stoked... it's going to be a lot of fun getting things back in to shape and adding those little touches to make it ours. Double checked on some additional things - all glass is original and in excellent shape, and all moving glass does, in fact, smoothly move. All lenses are also intact, original, and present. I can't wait to get this baby out for a nice, leisurely drive.
Cool thing is, here in Wisconsin, vehicles over 20 years old and original (within a set of guidelines) qualify for collector plates, which are registered to a person or persons rather than a VIN/engine number, and are permanent - no annual registration fees. Stipulation is, you can't drive the vehicle during the month of January. Instead of $75 per year, they're $200 forever.
So, assuming this satisfies the challenge, plus the fact that I've seen a bazillion bikes headed out for vacations here lately, here's the next challenge!
Your bike (GOS), and a motorcycle trailer/camper. Obviously, it doesn't need to be hooked up to YOUR bike.
Here's the Softy, GOS, in front of a motorcycle pop-up tent trailer and a motorcycle cargo trailer.

Next Challenge: Your bike, GOS, in front of an Indian or Victory Dealership. Sign of the dealership needs to be in the picture.
