I'm glad your OK and welcome back! I had a bad Heart attack and a triple bypass the end of Feb., never been down from anything major prior to that. I have had many close calls though from car accidents and Aholes in cars when on the bike. I have had that attitude for a good long while now. I am not guaranteed tomorrow so I try to make the best of today. Things that matters to me? My kids, my family, my dog, my job, home and money. The job, home and money only means something to me because you have to have them to survive. I have come to see, understand and to believe that everything else is just dust in the wind. Enjoy your time with your G/F and the bike and forget everything else. By the way, very nice bike, but of course I am a little biased too!
Had the same after a tooth pulled. Many, many visits, tests, then the same a rare bacteria they don't test for. Same as you dude replaced my old Harley for new.
Glad to see you made a great recovery. Your right life is to short and it could end anytime. After several combat tours over the past 30 years and nearly loosing my life on the last one I came to the conclusion that every day is a special day. I try to live each day as if it is my last day. I know there are risk every where not just on the bike. Good luck with the new ride and be safe.
Your smile says it all. Congratulations on beating that disease and deciding on pulling the trigger on a bike. You are right - life is too short, and we never know what tomorrow may bring, or if there IS a tomorrow, so if it is within your means, do what makes you happy!
