Yeah +1 on what splatt said. There's so many ways to do one style, this is a nice example

RDY2ROLL
you're really on to something with your Vicla. How's a bout a highlight breakdown of what you see as some of the key factors that really sets your build apart from the current Vicla, to what you refer as "vintage" Vicla"
Chompin at the bit here. So little I know of what was that started it all.

splatttttt, I have always loved the long and low look of the vicla style but am not into all the chrome that is normally a part of it. The difficult part is taking it to the edge tastefully. Goldleaf trim, a handfull of aged brass pieces to accentuate it and good tooled leather brings me back in time. When I got the bike it was chromed out and it took awhile to slowly get it converted to black. Added the tank shift and EFM clutch and had to go with brass shift **** and clutch peg. The long black ceramic coated cholo's needed some love so had custom brass tips made for them. Got rid of the la perla seat and searched around for what's on there now which is a mother load tooled leather seat and pan. I knew I wanted bags on her but didn't want to go hard. Had some old springer bags and loved the basket weave pattern but they looked small on the bike to me so when Boss bags made their 50 I knew they where what I needed to finish the look. Got rid of their chrome concho's on the bags and had some custom made of silver and brass to tie into the scheme of things. I copied the style out of a love of the look but when parked in a sea of chromed out bikes I can find mine as it always has a crowd around it...lol Not sure if that's what you wanted, but you have to make it your own no matter what style you go with.

Always been a rat bike fan, so chrome is out!
Then there's the dark side that dwells with in. That is where only I alone can go to
Gonna let those emotions steer me in what ever thar direction may be for that long and low big twin machine looking to be mine
Your ride surely posess the qualeties belonging to tha long and low big twin machine, but wnting to be recognized in a class all by it self. Its own world
And it achieved just that
More than just a work of art. It has soul

I just finished mine up last week. I've yet to see a vicla style bike in Kentucky or anywhere that I've ridden around here in the past 8-10 years with the exception of one that I saw in Nashville last year. Here are a couple before and after pics:
