Only One O2 Sensor???
I bought the bike used about 4 years ago and the pipes were already on it. She ran great but about 6 months ago I added a K&N filter under the stock cover & I've been dealing with increasing decel pop ever since. I installed a fuelpak last week that I got off of ebay really cheaply. While the decel pop is 98% gone, there are other pops/backfires that are new that I'm not happy with. I was think & hoping the XiEDs would help or if they'll work only having one O2 sensor. I don't have the money for a full tuner despite knowing that they are the best way to go. I'm about ready to just yank the fuelpak & reinstall a stock air filter! I just want my baby to run sweet like she used to. Any advise/help would be greatly appreciated.

I went through V&H little map lookup site... put in exactly what it said. It runs a touch stronger but it's also hotter & the gas mileage is down to add to the increasing backfire. I have no idea which of the 29 modes to tweek.

"The Fuelpak has a function which shuts off the fuel whendecelerating. No fuel=no pop. Obviously the Fuelpak has to turn the fuel backon at some point or the engine would die. Not all popping can be eliminated, but this feature does lessen it. Mode 23 controls the rpm where the fuel isturned back on. Try lowering this by one number and see if it helps you. If youhave done this and have gotten to 14 or your bike is stalling when coming to astop, that is all you can do and you will not be able to lessen the poppingwithout changing the pipes or installing quieter baffles. The popping is notharmful, just annoying."
