One thing I definitely want add to the bike is an engine guard / crash bar (and of course highway pegs). As there are quite a few options, I'd like to find out what others went with - and ideally see a picture of the bar on your bike. And then I'm curious what highway pegs (and mounting kit) you went with.
That does look really good on the bike. H-D's picture of it on the website is f'ing awful. It's pretty much between that one and the Cobra product I think.
I went with the black mustache bar because I didn't want it noticed, but I may opt for a chrome nostalgia bar at some point. I feel goofy with my feet sticking out in front of me like I'm on a recliner in front of the tv, so I just got it for the tip over protections. (and it's worked)
Went w/ the black mustache guard too. Matches the orange/brown color of the bike better and a darn sight cheaper than the Lindby. Unless you have short legs you prob won't use the foot rest though. My knees are up over the gas tank. Went w/ the standard HD large pegs and the adjustable mounts. Took a few edits before I found the right position though. The wind likes to catch the thigh, run up the leg and chest and buffet the hell out of my face. I guess lowers might solve that. Still mulling it over.
