Anyway, OP, test ride the Slim. (Please don't red line it on a test ride like this other misguided soul). But push it, and see if you dig it. Bet you will.

I thought it was kinda funny that he said:
"..We here in the Bay Area actually ride our bikes. Not really sure how you guys down south are..."
Well, up in these parts if you were to pull that crap on a dealer's bike during a demo ride you'd be treated to some free dental work, right before you scrawled your John Hancock on the Sales Agreement, in a headlock...
You seem to be a very confused individual...
Stupidity does not require *****...
Famous last words: "Hey y'all, watch THIS..."
You forgot the "hold my beer!"
I'll have to remember to avoid the bay area the next time I ride the bike out to Cali...it would probably give me a complex being around all those guys that "ride their bikes".
Lighten up man Im just giving my opinion. We here in the Bay Area actually ride our bikes. Not really sure how you guys down south are.\
The bike I test rode had less than 400 miles on it. So maybe it just needed proper break-in. In my experience, all of the lineup I have test ridden have some type of buzziness. Not complaining but each lineup have their quirks
But one thing I did notice is that the transmission on the slim/softails are very slick compared to the rubbermounted engines. which is a plus for me.
I have a 2013 Slim and I don't get that vibration. You may have poor circulation.
