Squeaking front brake

I bought a 07 custom with a after mkt chrome front end and rotor.The front brake squeaks like crazy just when the bike comes to a complete stop.i had a 02 duece with a chrome HD front rotor that did the same thing.Its this common?do i need to get the rotor machined?

Just to be safe, check your wheel bearings...my brake started making noises and it was because it was helping hold the wheel on...had 2 bearing failures with less than 7k on each...worth checking and cheap to fix.
