RE: Anyone know this '06 Night Train Ape ??? Who built it... etc...
Before i bought the heritage I put 10,000 miles on a Honda ace with 16" apes andlowered 2" in the back. I did alot of 200+ days without even blinking an eye. Did a couple 400+ mile trips in a day then started feeling some arm and finger fatigue which wasn't horrible just somewhat uncomfortable at times. I was alot more comftorable with the apes than the stock beach bar type bars thats for sure. Not sure how drag bars feel though. As far as putting around town,I would think either would be fine unless your really short! I'm 5'9" and 16" apes felt good to me on that bike. When I bought the Heritage I went a couple of inches shorter because I like longer rides. I still have the honda and I like riding it because of the 16"s !
