RE: Anyone know this '06 Night Train Ape ??? Who built it... etc...
Looking to buy it ! Not sure if pipes were jetted properly, etc.... If it was dropped or whatever... just curious if the previous owner is around. If it is a needle in a haystack... i'll pull the post, but worth a try.... Any Apes out there that can justify / clarify the feel of 16" Apes on a lowered bike...?
RE: Anyone know this '06 Night Train Ape ??? Who built it... etc...
Higher apes are tiring over long distances. Drag bars can be the same. Comfort and "cool" are often inversely related. Good advice given to me a while back was to think twice before doing a bar swap and if I chose to do it, make sure I kpet the OEM stuff to go back if I want.
If you get that bike and decide you want to go with different bars, estimate $300-700 to complete the job. Add a few bucks for labor if you don't DIY.
RE: Anyone know this '06 Night Train Ape ??? Who built it... etc...
Reality is I am only putting around the neighborhoods or trailer to country and events. Need something cool. I have the Big Valkyrie for Comfort. Love the Stock Train too.. Drag bars feel sweet also... Love the apes too... Never rode a bike with either. Dont want to be in the middle.... One or the other. If i go new, stock = more money to follow in Modifications.... and I am at my limit.? Time for me to decide.... Thanks for your thoughts...
