Thanks everyone and sorry it took so long. The only luck I have been blessed with so far this year has been bad luck! I did take a few close up's of the bars and grips but they didn't turn out so hot. Also Motown Strag, I think a while back you asked about my highway bars, at least I think it was you. I took a picture of those too. Also Toastman, I am NOT 1 little bit surprised that you would have to find 1 thing on my bike, about my bike, that you disliked but I'm not upset or angry about it either. Everyone has their own opinion and that is what this GREAT country is all about. I will also tell you guys this, the nicest surprise out of this round of mods and that is this hydraulic clutch setup. It is by far the easiest I have ever pulled on. If I knew it was going to be that easy, that nice I would have done it years ago even if I only had regular bars. Anyone out there, women, who complain about a clutch being to stiff or hard to pull on, switch over to hydraulics, it's just the cat's ***. I will also say how easy the bike handles, even in tight places. The 1st few minutes on the bike I was like" I paid over a grand for this"!!! By the end of the day it was like I have been riding bikes with apes for years. It also changes how I sit and my tailbone doesn't hurt NO WHERE near as bad as it did with the old bars. I can't wait to get my seat and when I do I will follow up with more pictures. Pictures, and not just my bike, doesn't do most bikes justice. It looks MUCH sweeter in person. Shoot, I had a guy that had to be 80 years old pull up next to me at a light, even he had a comment on how nice the bike looked and when the light turned green, he shot me a thumbs up!! Now, the ceramic coating on my pipes. I think most people are of the understanding that with ceramic coating they will lose the heat issue off of the left side pipe, thats never going to be the case no matter what you do or what you use. What it does do though is REALLY knock that heat down for you. Going down the road last night I reached down and slowly tried to touch my left side pipe, well, the heat shield. I was able to touch it without it peeling the meat off of my hand. ( I don't recommend doing that though ). I also noted that sitting at a light I was getting more heat off of my motor then I was off of that pipe. I still only have a few 100 miles under my belt with this set up so I am sure I have more to learn and more to realize but all in all, so far? It was worth the 125.00 it took to have them ceramic coated. ANYTHING that knocks down any heat or heat issues is worth it to me. I also never have to worry about "boot burn marks" on my pipes anymore either. I don't think it will get hot enough to melt boots, knock on wood. So, to me was it worth the 125.00 it took to get them done? My answer as of now is yes. I do want to get 1 of the plastic crotch heat shields and have it "chromed" but I 1st have to find a way to deal with the digital oil pressure gauge I now have mounted to the top of my rear rocker box. Here are the few close up pictures I snapped of my bars and 1 of my highway bar. In closing I know there are a few people here who thought I was just another "troll" and only speaking of things I WANTED to do to my bike, never expecting me to ever do them. Well, here it is. I will be the 1st to admit that nothing went as I planned and it took 10 x's longer to get done than it should have BUT better late than never. I just wish some of you guys, that I have made friends with, lived closer so we could go riding. OH, 1 more thing. I have noticed that bike does not seem as "ballsey" as it did with the 2 into 1 but no where near enough to make me sorry I did what I did. I won't have numbers though until I get it on the Dyno but I have nothing to match it too. I can't find my old dyno sheet but if I remember correctly it was 100/101. With the way my motor is set up though, how much do you need? I just cruise and I still have more than enough power and torque to get me out of any jam I find myself in. I don't go around smoking my tires and popping wheelies on this bike anyway.

Tony,

Very nice job!

I have been eyeing the Ness chrome fork boots for a while. But, as listed, fitment does not include a Deluxe or a Heritage. Did you have to remove your passing lamps so the cow bells would fit or was that done for the overall look of the bike?

Hi Tony,
Your bike looks great. I love the pipes. Let me know if the ceramic coating on the pipes makes any difference. I hope you are out riding! Hooch
