Default Fatboy hard to roll

Not sure if this normal or not. When I take the bike out for the first time it's very hard to roll. Almost to the point where I can't roll it. With the clutch in or in neutral. No difference either way. After 5 minutes of riding its very eay to roll. The bike is a 2012 fatboy with ABS and the 103. What do you think? Normal?

I've only experienced this if I've let the bike sit in gear. Then it is difficult to push with clutch in. If it's left in neutral from the get go, it's always easy.

I am not a mechanic, so I cannot recommend anything. If it were a bicycle, there are a couple tricks one could try, but what gets me is that this is a fluctuating condition that appears to be determined on how "cold" or "warm" the bike is.

Someone should be able to offer solid advice. I'm rather curious as to what that advice will be.

When my bike was newer I would experience the same thing, even after adjusting the clutch & cable. I started making it a habit of starting the bike in neutral with the clutch in. After about 5000 miles I never noticed it again

Just spit-ballin' here, BUT... Poly-chain belts aren't the most pliable belts on the planet, especially when they're cold... It could be nothing more than that...

I could be wrong...

This sounds relatively normal, specially for a new bike. The clutch plates stick together, new gears, chain and belt- all this trying to rotate. Even after almost 30,000 miles, mine does it on occasion. But, I suggest you check your belt tension. I mean, the factory does everything perfect, right?
