Love the look of your bike! If I were at your point of customization I would try and find some LED light strips that you could tie in. Hidden until needed! The slim is a great bike to start a honest bobber project! That's why i bought mine!
Just finished installing these Arlen Ness 10" mini apes.. went for a cruise and I love 'em so far. Also installed a Baron Bullet Tach and replaced all cables with Magnum Sterling Chromite II's.
Bit of a job lengthening wiring harnesses and hooking up the clutch cable and all that but there are litsa good vid of out there. What do you think?
That's lookin' *good* Bowen2020!!! Now you've got me thinking cables. If I need to extend mine I was gonna go with the HD upper cables. Congratulations!!
Do any of you guys who have switched to apes have your stock cables you want to get rid of? I have 14" bars on mine right now and want to get rid of them and go to a 10" bar. My cables are a little longer than i'd like as it is, and stock should work for 10" bars from what im reading.

Anyone else have an issue w/the clutch cable rubbing the tank or fork covers? Ive tried additional clamps & rerouting the cable but still cant seen to keep it from rubbing. My cable is a definitely little longer than it needs to be though.
