Hi
I've been looking at windshields for my night train and tring to find one that goes with the look of the train. So far the best i've found are the Memphis shades demon or hellcat.I'd like to here your opinions and if you have any pictures please post them I haven't seen many trians with windshields.
Thanks for your help
Ed
I gotta tell ya, I felt the same way.
I would NEVER put a windshield on my bike.
Then one day last summer, I took my bike to the dealer or it's 1000 mile service.
They loaned me a new demo Street Bob for a couple hours while they were working on my ride. The Bob had the HD quick disconnect shield.
The first thing I noticed is that my glasses were not moving around, my chest wasn't getting 60MPH wind pressure, and there was no fatigue at all while cruising down the highway. I could almost deal cards on the tank.
I looked and looked because personally I hate the look of any windshield that is bigger than a Denny's pancake, but Windvest makes one that I think makes the bike look even better.
It's 14X14, all chrome billet hardware and blocks just enough to keep the fatigue off of my cheat, and enough height to blow the wind over my helmet.
I am waiting for my new Xtreme Machine chrome wheels to show up, and then I'll post some pictures for you guys to look at.
Never say never about windshields. It will double the pleasure of the ride, trust me..
