Extra motor noise with windscreen

A quick question,

I have a 2004 Fatboy and when riding it with the removable windscreen, I here a lot more noise from the motor. I was just wondering if others have the same thing. "More motor noise with windscreen on" "Less motor noise with windscreen off"

Motor makes the same noise with or without. Just my perception changes.
Not as much 'wind noise' with the screen.

It makes perfect sense to hear more of the engine noise. It's a big, curved surface. Depending on where you put your face, it will deflect more of the sound, like being in the focal point of a magnifying glass, except it won't set you on fire quite as fast.
