Can I run my Rush Racing Exhaust without the supplied end caps/tips?
The backstory:
Was washing the bike yesterday when I noticed one of the end caps was missing from my exhaust! Upon further inspection, it appears that the end cap pulled through the heat shield and is now forever lost. Please see attached photos. I felt around and there are no scuff/ drag marks on the bottom of the heat shield indicating that I hit anything to rip out the tip. Anyone have ideas on what would have caused this? Running the 7020ST system on a 2011 Rocker C
Thanks

Reason: Added exhaust model number.
I have the same pipes but they are black. I don't run end caps and have no problems. Got a great deal for the set at $150 NIB but with out the caps. I just had the tip of the shields ceramic coated satin silver.

Thanks for choosing Rush! Please contact our office for warranty options. The rip appears to not be from hitting something or dragging. It would probably mess up the end of the pipe was well if that happened. Best option is to email these pics to sales@rushracingproducts.com. We will get the images to our warranty clerk and determine if it's covered.
