Marshmellow seat was first to go....and they are not wide glide bars.......the wide glide has the 1 and a quarter bars with the internal wiring.....Custom has 1" externally wired........they were next to go....!!! Wish that the parts were cheap!!! But you are right.....same platform to build from....and a nice one at that!!! I have always owned black bikes.......just seems like when given the choice that is always what I choose.....so when the train came round it was a no-brainer.......guess I'm just lucky as that is usually the cheapest color as well!!!!

 

Black Denim...but that's just my opinion. I like the raw look.

 

I just picked up my '07 NT this pastSaturday in Black Pearl, it does pop in the sun. Had to ride it 60 miles in 20 degree snow flurry weather but it was worth every mile.

I really like the Black Pearl, I saw the Pewter denim and it is cool but I like a little shine on my bike.

This is my first Harley so I am really pumped.

I don't want to sound like know it all, and you seem like nice guy, but DUDE you are going to pay $20,000.00 or more un-less cash or good trade, and Interest ,insurance , but get what make's you happy, even if other model catche's your eye, to me it's like meeting girl you know if you want her and don't ask other's if she is the one, you know inside. I'm 50 yes I know old as dirt but have had many different bike's, and harley's are special so guy buy what you like, customize it like you want, not have someone spend your hard earned money for you ,I have been riding since I was 12 so I think I have had all brand's, allway's wanted harley finely got my first one 25yrs ago 1974 superglide 74 C.I AMF 4 speed,chain, never had to changeoil because leaked so much just put new filter on when thought was time for it, now older done the piece by piece build lazyer now like to get loaded bike so sold my last fat boy and bought 06 C.V.O scremin eagle 103 fat boy, and still bought stuff, pipe's,s.e.r.t,K&N,8mm plug wire's had dynoed, added more bling,Kuryakyn lower plate with led light's, put skull where 3 hole's on fender, you will too,every payday, sorry for rant,buy for what make's you happy, you may own for 1yr or 10, so anyway hope you get what I mean, PEACE AND GOOD LUCK ON WHAT EVER YOU BUY!!!!!!!!.

Mine's Black Cherry - kinda dull in the night lights, but really pops in the sun.....

 

No regrets on my black denim choice.

this is an easy one, BLACK...any shade of black

 

I don't know, to me a Nightrain needs to be black.
Any other (lighter) color looks like a blacked out Custom or Standard with drag bars.

But that's just my opinion and others often differ.
