If your happy with the Softail, no need to spend money needlessly. I have owned a lot of different Harleys and each has their place. Each model has its relative strengths and weaknesses but all of them are good. There is also a lot of overlap in capabilities. Having said all of that, I find that I want 2 bikes. I have had times with only 1 but in the end I come back to 2. An around town bike and a touring bike. I recognize this is a luxury and not for everyone but it sure makes life fun.
