They are only 'some' items you can buy for the CVO... IF you don't have one. I checked with the dealer and they confirmed that certain parts for the CVO can ONLY be order by the owner of a CVO.
Now which parts are they? I didn't have time to get a list.... I know you can get the mirrors, foot control, pegs, nacelle(?) (chrome plate behind the headlamp)... and a some others, but I don't have a definitive list. Your dealer will let you know.
I paid $200 for mine because they are a controlled item at Harley that you cannot buy.
Can't remember the sellers name but do a search for Breakout and you'll see someone who is either stealing them and selling them or works at the plant and has a hookup.
The guy I bought mine from had 4 sets for sale, when I questioned him as to where he got them he said they were for bikes that were wrecked (ya right, 4 CVO's wrecked in the same town and you were the shop to service/paint the bike).
EDIT: twowheelbandit is his name and he's only selling the stock non-cvo emblems now btw.
