From someone who doesn't have kids yet, and hasn't been in school for a while, WTF are senior high school pics? I got mine taken by the school for the yearbook and my mom probably took a few throughout the year. Pretty sure she remembers me too without $1700 worth of pics. I am also guessing that this excessive, outrageous, ridiculous cost has more to do with his mother's choice than yours.

I know what he's talking about as far as prices go as I'm a photographer, but there are better ways to go about it. There are some amazingly talented photographers out there that are just starting out that will charge nowhere near as much and will take some amazing photos in the process. But then again, a name is worth the money to some people. In my town there was a photographer that charged around those prices and anyone that was anybody got their photos taken there. I was a nobody.

Kids ALWAYS comes 1st. I sold my last bike for the sole purpose of giving that money to a Lawyer to fight for custody of my kids + another 45K. Now, is that ridiculous? It sure the hell is but it was what it was and if I wanted custody of my kids so they could be raised in a stable drug free environment it's what I had to do. I won, I raised them alone and there Mother is now dead from an overdose. It was worth every single penny.
