I have the fuelpak on my 09 Heritage and am happy with it, but I got it used off e-bay for $135. If I was buying new and only wanted a "fuel tuner", I'd go with Fuel Moto and get a Micro Tuner.

However if you ever want to go to a stage 2, you will need to buy a new tuner, but you shouldn't have too many problems getting most of your money back out of the fuel tuner

If you want to do it yourself get the Power Vision. Most user friendly. If you decide you want to go further you can then go get the Auto tune pro.

As other have said call fuel moto. The advice line not sales. They are awesome to deal with I have a power package in the mail right now for my new softail and they also set up my previous bike. Quality service and price are unbeatable. Even if your not ready to by just ask questions and hear them out.

Wasn't many choices back in 07, but I didn't want a piggy back system.

Knowing I was going to install cams I went with the SERT. I've been totally pleased with it as I don't like or want to mess with the tuning.

Its never give a problem at all. If I was to get another new bike I'd go with it again, but only if I installed cams, which I would.

Sort of, because of the Fuelpak. No real need to tune a Fuelpak - they come with settings for your particular bike and exhaust.

I don't know anyone who has personal experience with the Fuelpak, but the reviews on the Motorcycle Superstore seem pretty good:

I have the fuelpak on my FLHTK and have no complaints. I did call them for a correct map.

Update - installed my new pipes (V&H BP 2 into 1 Pro Pipe) and the air intake (Cobra Power Flo kit) today. Looks and sounds great, even before the fuel management module. Going with the Fuel Pak - I like that it doesn't need a dyno tune, just need to input the codes they give you for your model bike and exhaust.

Gonna have to update that picture in my signature.

My suggestion for a stage one is to take the extra step and have cams put in. You won't see much improvement in performance unless you do. Like night and day.

How much would it cost to do that?
