I'm new to the forum and hope this is the right section for my ?. I'm looking into putting full size touring bags on my deuce. I have found conversion brackets for softails, but they all say except deuce? Can someone tell me if they will work on my bike? What is the differences on the brackets on a regular softail?
I just bought a set of those for my 2003 Deuce over the summer. They are expensive but worth every penny. You can use any saddle bags you want so once you have the brackets you are set. Good luck. Curious to see what you end up doing.

I got into this deuce right. What I am wanting to do is but extended bags and a extended rear fender. I bought it solely because it was a good deal and not for the deuce looks lol. What I have found is the the softail brackets for fullsize bags do not work on the Deuce? Why is that?
Big +1 on Fox Creek Leather. Quality made is the USA products and great customer service. Have one of their jackets and a vest and been very happy with them. Good stuff. Hell, even purchased a set of bags from them that I'd planned to use (never got around to it) and they ended up giving me a full refund a YEAR later when I returned them in unused condition.
