I recently crashed and am laid up for awhile. Had to have reconstructive surgery on my shoulder. Totaled my Heritage. So I bought a 2008 Crossbones to replace it. While I may not be able to ride for a few more months, I surely am able to tinker. I am going to document my customization over the next couple months. I sold my old springer years ago while working the Sturgis rally and have regretted that day since. So I am going to make this crossbones as close to my old girl as possible(as funds allow..lol)
Lmao. First time I've heard that. But I guess I've been a boner owner my whole life...
I have replacement full fenders and tank tins at the painter now, beach bars, custom "vintage' seat and bags...etc. And will gently massage the engine when getting more use out of left arm.
