RE: Pulled between solo/pass. seat and luggage! Need help!
Keeping my stock King/Queen seat on my Softail Custom. Bought a solo and will remove/add the stock seat with sissy bar as needed. King/Queen is great as the wife/gf does not lean into you. Torx 45 wrench is all that is needed.

I think the 2 seat option is pretty good. How do you remove them....I never had mine off.
It's easy, just loosen the thumbscrew that attaches it to the fender, pull the seat towards the back of the bike a couple of inches, and turn the seat so you can slide it through the leather strap. Just be sure you cup your hand underneath the the metal bracket that attaches the seat to the fender when do this so you don't scratch the paint.
[sm=icon_guiness.gif] I hope that makes sense. I'll find out in the morning.

Cool, just got home from work at 4:30am and went out and pulled the seat right off....Thanks Dave.
I might just keep the stock seat/add quick detach sissybar for the g/f and then put on a solo seat for hot roddin' around town. I suppose I will have to leave the stocker/sissy baron too when I plan to haul luggage with me.
