http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US Its for 08/09 touring bikes. I ordered one along with the one-up rack. I am wondering if anyone else has tried it. It is in the HD new products catalog/web site item. Looks like it might be a knock off the Mustang solo.
It looks very similar to the stock seat on my UC without the passenger portion. I LOVE my seat, still waiting for the back rest to come in though....totally comfy
Kinda neat that it has a built in back rest. If I really like it I will order the optional passenger pillion too. Tima, your right it does look kind of like your seat without the pillion. I already have the solo rack and its a nice looking piece.
I am sure that it can go with the solo (removable) tour pack. The solo rack uses the same four point mounting system as the two-up rack and back rest (at least on my 09, not sure about the 08 models).
I haven't tried this particular seat, but I might have to check into it.
Here's some info from my experience with my new Brawler Solo though...
I bought the brawler solo when I picked up my '09 SG and I love the way it looks and I love the distance I get rearward for my long frame. In fact, it's almost too much. It sits me so far back and so low I can barely reach my road pegs on my engine guard.
The brawler solo is a bare bones seat, but it is actually very comfortable though anyone under 6 ft tall will most likely find it doesn't work for them.
It also sits so low as to create an odd angle on the hip, much like the Screaming Eagle seats did on the SE RK's (which sucked horribly).
I am sure that it can go with the solo (removable) tour pack. The solo rack uses the same four point mounting system as the two-up rack and back rest (at least on my 09, not sure about the 08 models).
THX! Goindiesel! This might be the way to get a solo tour pak on
