Any options besides a new tank

Finally got the chance to pull the pump and replace the fuel lines on my 01 Fatboy FI. When I opened the tank, I realized it had been lined at some point in the past, and the lining was coming loose. Took it to my local radiator shop to see about boiling it out and they said there was nothing really to do with it, except replace it. Any ideas beyond a replacement tank?

Im in the same boat, but im not worried about it. I just keep it topped up with gas regularly to prevent rust. My old evo never had a tank liner and i rode that thing a long while.
