I'm at a coin toss between 2 seats. If you see the thumbnail you can see the seat I'm currently riding on. Honestly it's comfy as hell but I despise the way it looks. Its a corbin classic touring i think. It's offset by the bags which I also hate and have removed (going for the slim look). Without the bags it's big and bulky and ugly. At the moment I have narrowed it down to a corbin fast gunfighter and a solo and pillion from C&C. Seems fairly easy right? Problem is, no pillion for the FG and the little woman likes to ride too. I love my corbin and have never ridden on a C&C. I LOVE the way the C&C looks!!!! This is my dilemma....fire away
I love my C&C seat. It's not one of the big touring seats but it does have the gel insert. I've put 10k on my bike so far this year and I've done a few 400+ trips stopping only for gas and have had no issues. It has been rained on and been in 100+ weather with no issues. As they say though, every butt is different so you may or may not like it.
I'm thinking about takin the chance with the C&C. I've not read anywhere on here where someone didn't like theirs. But I'd still be curious about the gel insert. I bout a a Le Pera seat and hated it. The gushy foam set my **** on fire 15 miles into my ride. Luckily I found it on amazon and was able to return it. No such luck with the other 2. At this stage I'm nervous about buying another one I don't like.
I have a C & C and have been very happy. Besides being a great product they also have great customer service. I've also had Corbin which I also liked but their customer service doesn't compare to C&C.
Yep, I can't figure it out. My Corbin is hard as a rock, but yet comfortable as heII. I'm convinced that shape is more important than softness. However I agree that Corbin Classic isn't the best looking seat. I'll stick with mine until I find a better one.
