FLS Slim install
First of all this will be my first question I've ever asked on this forum, I've been lurking here for years soaking up all the info I can get on Harley's and usually find the answer to my questions thru past posts. I am getting ready to install a set of 14" apes on my slim and thru my research I come up with 8" over stock length in cables for the job. Before I go and buy cables(Magnum cables) I wanted to know if this sounds right. I would like to keep the cables tight and not looking like an eye sore. By the way I'm using the 2" stock risers and the width of bars is 34-3/4" if this helps! Thanks for any responses.

I'm not completly sure about this but the stock bars have a 6" rise and about 32" width so +8" should be about right but if your clutch cable is as long as mine is I think it could be a few inches shorter. Hopefuly some one that has done this mod already can give you exact measurments. I've seen a couple of slims with apes on them and they they looked real good.
