MSRP+++on CVO Breakout

I bought a 2014 CVO Breakout and feel like I got a good deal. Of course the dealer started adding on some fees. I was okay with that because I got such a nice discount. One thing that did bother me thought was a $280 "Installation Charge". That in addition to freight=$435 and dealer setup charges of $500. When I asked what that "installation charge was for he said the CVO Breakout requires additional work to get it ready for delivery. I'm figuring this is BS just to get some of my discount back. Anybody ever heard of this extrra charge for $280?

Congrats first off! Did you purchase additional accessories off the jump? If so, it could be charges for the install of said items. If not, could be BS... and if you got a good deal, you're not out much and should still be ahead of the game.

I was looking at the CVO Deluxe and our local dealer added $435 shipping and $600 setup charge....................that was all.

That is why I want an "Out the Door Price" not a purchase price on anything I buy. I don't carry if there is add-on cost but the me the final price is all that matters.

Yes, dealers will add all kind of fees, prep, freight. etc., to increase there bottom line. It's all a game and the only thing that matters is the out the door (OTD) price. If you're happy with the OTD then there is really nothing else to discuss.
