He really had no trouble with it Dude. Once he laid everything out, figured what had to be cut it's was bang, bang, bang and he was done. I was very impressed with his electrical and wiring skills. When I say that I mean it was a good 8 hour day but I also got a bunch of other stuff too, Ness chrome fork boots, Samsons put on then the bars. I don't know how you wire but if I may suggest....All the tie ins and splices he had to do he staggered them, where he cut and tape them individually. Don't not cut everything in the same place. If you do then you have a bigger ball of tape there all in one spot and when you go to pull them through the bars they plug up or can plug up there where there is everything all done in one place. Am I making that clear, kinda, sorta?? If you don't understand what I'm talking about I can send you a number and you can call me anytime too. Then again you may be a master electrician and I'm sitting here making a fool of myself!!!!
In any case Dude. I have really talked up the SS a lot here but truth be known, Love ya JD, but this set up is really sweet. It came out FAR better then even I thought it would. Had I known apes are this comfortable I would have had them many years and many bikes ago. All internal just really makes it look so clean up there. That and my shocks are a topic of conversation wherever I go. It's really fun. I been riding way over 40 years now and this is the most fun I have had in a very long time. I was getting bored again and that's not a good thing for me. So, I splurged on the bike because finally, I could afford to for once. It all just made it fun again. I'm 56 but at times I felt 26 (and a few times 96 too). I think you'll enjoy it. Your bars are the same as mine just turned so you should have no problem. The hydraulic clutch, to me, is so smooth. The Exile internal throttle? It just rolls on and off so nicely too.
Keep me posted Dude, you need a number? Holler and I will fire it off to you.
Hey, I just remembered and I don't know where he got it but the hydraulic lines he used for the brake and the clutch was very thin. It was very stout but thin. If you need that information let me know and I will call him. Also, if that bike is yours in that picture, it's a nice bike and it will look even MORE sweet with all internals.

Once again... excellent looking scoot. I remember when you were contemplating the apes a while back on here and since then with SS shock and the mods you have done, it set it off to the next level. Glad you jumped on it and did it up right... As far as apes, I haven't ridden without apes on regular basis for the past 13 years. Anyhow, thanks again.
