Default Michelin Commander 11 dimensions

Time for new front & rear tires on my '02 Heritage and I have been running Dunlop Elite 3's. I'm considering trying out a set of Michelin Commander 11's this time around but my question is does anyone know of a chart with the dimensions of these tires? I've heard they look smaller than the Dunnies, but I can't seem to find find a chart with their diameter and width. TIA!

This should be what U need. It has all the specs U need, tire dia, tire width, both inflated and not, also load rating,

Have had mine for 7k now... don't believe that they will come close to lasting 2x as others as Michelin is claiming.
Maybe vs the lops 200 rears on Softails only.

On my fronts I don't think I'll get as much as the (2) Org HD 402's Lop's (20K easy). The II's have used up 2/32'nds and have 2/32'nds left. they only have 5/32'nds new and I replace at 1/32'nds. so I may need new front after 15k

On the rears I do think they will go maybe 12k. I got 10k out of the 4 Hd Lop's 401's.

I measured the tread wear with a gauge, Not just guessing at them.

OK with the rear, Not happy with the front.
I will buy a Elite 111 for front when the comdII is gone.

I do like the Comd II tires for tar snakes and road grooves and they are good in the rain also.

In my size, the rear is 1/2'' taller and a bit narrower than the Lops 401's and the front is 1/4'' shorter than the HD Lops.
they do ride a little firmer because they have a Higher load cap.

Over all I am pleased with the CommII's, Just hoped they lasted longer for the xtra $$.
When I ordered them I bought 2 rears and 1 front. Thinking they'd go 2rs-1ft like lop tires.

The tread design is better than the 402's and 401's. That's why they do better on grooves and tar snakes. But the EIII's have almost the same tread design as CommII's and its why I will try them next tiem.

If you are running stock heritage wheels you will want 130/90/16 front and either 130/90/16 ,140/90/16 or probably a 150/80/16 will fit. These tires seem to run a little narrower than teh Metzelers that I have compared them to.

Just put a Commander II on the front of my '09' Heritage. Did a 130/90/16 and it looks as wide as the original Dunlap. Sure can't complain about the original tire. 32,000 miles.

I forgot to mention that I think the Commander II's handle far better than the stock Dunlop's.

Good to know. What isn't all that clear to me is they say the stock rear size tire for a narrow fender '02 is a MU/90/16 which now Michelin has replaced with a 140/90/16. But according to the tire chart those two sizes are a different diameter. I'm wanting to get the largest diameter tire possible but it seems a little confusing, or mebbe its just me!

140 will fit fine. 150 depends on the setup of your ride.
