Thanks Softail, it turned out pretty good, I'm happy with it. It looks good with that paint scheme and is very comfortable.

Not to discount their work, because it looks like a quality seat. But I priced it out with a passenger pillion and a few options and you're looking at over $2000. And that's not even a true custom seat. It's just selecting generic stuff from a drop down

That crazy to me. Who is actually ordering these.

2K, are you kidding me? That is RAPE!!! I got 3 seats, 2 backrests done with the gelfoam and done in the black and white and I had my right side tear drop toolbox lined with automotive trunk material so nothing would rattle around in it for HALF that!!! DAMN, 2K!!!!

I only bought his solo seat, which wasn't anywhere near $2,000. Email Rich @ Bitchin Seats and see what he can do for you. I love my seat, and it's worth every penny I paid for it. Was it more than a Danny Gray, yes, but not ridiculously more.

Of note I can ride my Breakout with my Shotgun shocks lowered to the frame/bump stops and still be comfortable. Also think about it this way, how much money do you spend on accessories that only add to the appearance, probably lots right? Tons of chrome/powdercoating, etc, but does any of that $$$ that you spend do any of them increase the comfort of your ride, probably not right?

It's like having the coolest Pinto on the block that has cinder block seats instead of nice leather bucket seats. You may look cool but it's no fun to ride, and when I ride, I want to be comfortable and I am.

At the end of the day we all spend our money how we want and on what we want. If the stock seat, Danny Gray, Mustang, Corbin, Le Pera or whatever flavor you like works, that's all that matters. I'm not advocating for Bitchin Seats cause I have one, but I will say that I'm glad that I have one and would do it again if I were in the market for a new seat.

Take care and post up some pics of whatever seat you end up with, love seeing what folks are adding to their bike.

I sent them a message via there website. I get your point about cost but I'm not one to get sticker shock very often. Maybe I just selected the wrong option on their site.
