Wide Whitewalls everytime. Have another look at the before and after of DK Customs ride, nuff said. 5 minutes per wheeel to clean; wet steel wool and some creme cleanser (Ajax), light scrub and hose off. Thats all there is to it. Good Luck with your choice.

For cleaning I use Scrubbing Bubbles and recently found Kaboom with Oxy is great. Pretty much spray on and wipe off. As everyone has posted above, simple household cleaning supplies.
As for cost, wear out your current tires, then replace with the whites.
