The nut is on that side and generally you just replace the washer under the nut with the license plate bracket and torque to spec.

most folks just run the wire up swingarm with wire tys and hidden behind swingarm bag...think im gonna use black silicone and run the wire on the backside of swingarm...theres also a 3m industrial vinyl tape thats crystal clear that i also thought about using...sticks very well and easy to take off as well

Different side mount to stock. I didn't like how high the stock one mounted.

Mounted on the axle instead of the washer. Dealer installed it at the first service for me and rerouted the wiring along the swingarm. The wiring is hidden well by the swingarm bag.

This was the stock UK mount. Ugly in my opinion.

Looks great

What make and model did you use for your axle mount license plate on your breakout (mount and plate holder)

Thanks

Bringing this one back from the dead instead of creating a new one on the same subject. I just picked up the side-mount bracket from Accufast2D (awesome people by the way) and the LED plate frame from AccuDynamics, and will try to install them tomorrow.

Looking at my bike ('16), it doesn't appear to have a spacer on the right side. Does anyone know the part number for the RH chrome "standoff" that I can mount on the left side? ***ETA: Do not order PN 69438-06, "Standoff, Directional"...it's not the right one (too long) *** I eventually plan to go with a LED stop/tail/turn strip under the fender in addition to strut-tip lights, but this will get me by for now.

As for the wiring for the LED plate frame, did anyone reuse the existing wire from stock plate light (and was there enough room to re-route it?) or did you just splice into another wire? Does the LH strut need to be removed to re-route? (or to remove the stock plate bracket for that matter).

Just trying to get all my ducks in a row before I get too deep and realize I needed something else and have to put it all back together for nothing.

Did you get the part number for the left side turn signal?
