Another thing I discovered when going with the 34 tooth front sprocket was when I went to remove the compensator nut it was only on finger tight! I was hearing a lot of what I thought was chain racket prior to that and after I put it back together and properly torqued the nut all the racket I heard before is now gone. From the saddle it now sounds totally quiet. I rode that thing for 15k that way before I found the problem....

Comforting to hear others (deuce dog and greabert) have the same issues, shifting between 4th and 5th.

Now with snow on the ground, I'm ready to get in there and start counting some teeth!
