About the belt guard, it goes on without any mods with this Heartland swingarm. The clearance is really tight close to the tire and the pivot mount of the swingarm, but there is plenty of clearance where it mounts. Sorry, I didn't get a chance to take pics. I'll post some pics later.

Thanks for the kind words on the Deuce - much appreciated!
My kit has the mounting tabs for the belt guard, but I opted to delete the guard on this bike.
The tolerance is very tight on mine as well, but haven't had any issues with it.
Definitely looking forward to following your progress on the shotgun shocks.
Looks GOOD! But slammin' it down will give some attitude
Thanks Jo! I agree, Shotgun Shocks in the future! You do the Toys for Tots ride in all the rain? I ventured out from Waipahu, but after a few miles I was totally soaked and I knew I would be miserable the rest of the day, so my buddy and I headed back home.
awesome....all you gave to do is lower it. bike looks good.
I agree! Gotta get some funds to lower it first!

Thanks! I intially wanted to get a Rocker for the 240, but the price on the Deuce I bought was too good to pass up. thus began the quest to get a 250 on her.
Thanks or the shout out. Wow, this is always the payoff for me. Seeing the bike with everything on it really gets my juices flowing.
I have to agree that you need a shotgun shock on that bad boy to complete the look. Nothing compares to the look of a nicely done softail.
Hey Drew,
Yeah, finally got her done. Took about 3 and a half months after receiving it because my mechanic and I were cruising on the schedule, but it's finally done! The rear tire part anyway. Next on the list is the Shotgun Shocks, new bars and new upper and lower controls.

Pat, it seems as if you have it mapped out very well. Congrats and enjoy.
