Default UK Breakout, let the mods begin!

Well, I have done my first mod!

I have fitted some PM Renthal grips that I happened to have lying around.

Also, my V&H Big Radius 2 into 2 have arrived, am I going to run into any problems fitting them?

I just finished installing the exact same pipes. They fit like a glove. Buy the screamin eagle exhaust port gaskets also

FYI just unbolt six bolts to remove the whole exhaust assembly. 2 bolts from the exhaust bracket and the 4 bolts around the exhaust port

Thanks for your replies

Ok, so I have removed the old exhaust, just a couple of questions.

The instructions say I will need circlip pliers, and to remove circlips from stock exhaust.. I didn't knowingly come across any?

Also, the unit on the stock exhaust that has the plug in it, what happens to that?

The circlip is what holding the flanges in place on the stock exhaust. You have to reuse the flanges on your new pipes. Remove the circlips gently without bending it too much or just purchase a new set from harley like I did.You don't need the pliers, it just takes a little bit of elbow grease to remove them

Order a service manual for your bike. It will be the best investment for all your modification needs

The plug is your 02 sensor which you will have to plug into your new exhaust
