I've liked those bar end signals since I first saw them on that Thunderbike BO. Really nice.

Yeah I thought I would give those ones a go. I don't know who makes them but I've only seen them at Thunderbike. I assume they are elsewhere though. I'm about to head on holiday for a couple of weeks so when I get back and get the bars on I will post up if they are any good.

I hope they're good too... expensive activity if they're not!

It's illegal here to run without indicators here to the point they can confiscate your bike until you fix it. Hopefully the bar end signals look alright. Picture below is straight from the Thunderbike site.
I think the signals will look even better on apes

Agreed...really cool idea. That's going to be a very unique and custom look. I look forward to seeing it.

I'm barely 6' and had the same problem. This is a common complaint with the stock Breakout. You'd have to be built like Adrien Brody to see past yourself in the mirrors. The stock headlamp is also a joke and needs upgrading.

Stock bars and mirrors are useless, even for a 5'9", 155lb guy. Stock mirrors do work well with the CVO bars.

I noticed, last time I was in the dealer, that the sporsters use an almost identical mirror - the only difference being that the stem is about 2" longer. Probably not news to anyone, but I was wondering if anyone had tried them on the BO??

I agree with this. I'm almost exactly the same size. For now I'm probably going with a set of wide glide bars just because I have an extra set laying around for free. Hopefully they'll help enough to last me until I can buy whatever bars I decide on.

I'm thinking about the Kuryakyn scythe mirrors but I like the scythe II version better but it's not offered in black. So haven't completely decided on mirrors yet either.
