That's what I thought and was worried that it might effect my Dino mapping. So I went to my dealers service dep. the service manager looked it up and he told me that it was not the ecu but the re flashing of the part# for the oem speedo. He stated since I have the new multi fit speedo I would not need to do anything. He said if he did he would be re flashing a flash on the wrong speedo.
..?
I also have the HD Combo Tach/Speedo. When I took the bike in for the recall they did flash the ECU (fuel sensor reading), at least that's what the workshop mananger told me. When I handed in the bike it read two bars on the fuel gauge, after the update it only read one. That would correleate with the purpose of the recall.
This thread has gotten more than a little rude. I think I will respectfully stop posting in it.

Jim G, if you feel offended, I apologize. It was meant to be in good fun. I can give and take jokes and banter all day long and I was hoping that you'd loosen up a bit and see the humor in it.

I took mine in for the reflash they were unable to perform it. I am not sure if it was due to my Dakota Digital speedo, or my Power Vision, but I never got it done. The fuel level reading has never really been an issue on my bike, so I didn't bother to go any further.
