I have a 17 Breakout and just picked up a Pro Beam headlight. I pulled the stock headlight and went to put in the new light. The thing is the back of the headlight hits the mount so it doesn’t sit flush. It’s suppose to just drop right in but I haven’t found a single way it fits. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks in advance and happy New Years.
Aetas, has the nylon cable clamp been moved to the top screw hole? Softails headlamp buckets require this to allow proper clearance. If you are still having issues, please give us a call at 800-382-1388, and we will be glad to get one of our installation techs to call you back and help get this installed.
Yes. I moved the clamp but where the clamp was in and the grey breather cap in the other side hit the brackets in the headlight shell on a stock 17. I went into a dealership to look at the daylighters and the back of them are cut in right there to make clearance for the bolts.
My apologies; we must have been out at lunch when you called.

Hey guys, I'm looking to install these mini boards on my 17, I've been reading up on others installs and it seems alot of people have had to change out some of the foot controls I was wondering if anyone had some insight as to these specific boards and if I would have to change anything up or just plug and play ?

Well it took a little work but the guys at Custom Dynamics went out of their way to get the pro beam headlight to work on my scoot. For whatever reason the 17 breakout would not fit the light. It took a little dremal work and lots of texts back and forth with Kevin from Custom Dynamics but it’s in and I’m loving the light output. I got burned by my local HD, Columbia Harley and won’t be back but Custom took care of everything I needed with some of the best customer service I have experience. Just wanted to say the issues were fixed and I appreciate the help.
